Not likely. During our testing, we've never encountered an issue with the line getting caught in the prop. because of the aluminum construction of Glowave, When properly installed, there doesn't seem to be an issue, as the light will hang straight down. It's always a good idea to have someone watch any rope that's behind your boat. Treat it like a surf rope, and you likely won't run into any issues.
Typically — Nothing. Because of the high volume of water flowing behind the boat, when the light is properly seated in the surf wave, you'd have to really be trying to get hurt for something to happen. The water is a good enough separation between any person and the light, that it's probably not any more dangerous than a trailing surf rope.
